1. Driver Requirements
- Age: Minimum 21 years; certain vehicle classes may require 25 years.
- Driving licence: Valid driving licence (held for at least 1 year) and a national ID card / passport.
- Credit card: A personal credit card is required for the rental fee and security deposit.
2. Rental Period
The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours), with discounted rates for rentals of 7+ days. If you wish to extend the rental period, the renewal must be completed before the current contract ends.
3. Pickup and Return
- The vehicle is delivered at the date and time specified in the contract — clean, with a full fuel tank and a ready damage-inspection report.
- The vehicle must be returned under the same conditions. Missing fuel is charged at the price difference; if cleaning is required, a cleaning fee is added to the invoice.
- For one-way (drop-off) returns between our offices, a location-based drop-off fee applies.
4. Insurance and Damage
- All our vehicles are covered by standard rental insurance.
- If the Full Insurance (Super Cover) add-on is selected, zero-deductible full protection is provided.
- In case of damage/accident, Trabzon Rentacar and the traffic police must be informed immediately; a written report is mandatory.
- Damage outside the insurance scope (driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, unauthorised driver, off-road use) is the responsibility of the user.
5. Usage Limits
- The vehicle may not be used for commercial purposes, towing another vehicle, racing/testing or off-road.
- Geographical limits: within Türkiye. To take the vehicle abroad, the Cross-Border Permit add-on is required.
- Smoking is not permitted. In case of breach, a cleaning fee is added to the invoice.
6. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and are expected to be returned with a full tank. Customers who choose the Full Tank Delivery add-on do not need to refuel before return. If fuel is missing, the missing amount is charged at the pump price plus a service fee.
7. Traffic Fines and Violations
Traffic fines, motorway/bridge tolls and parking fines incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the user. When fines are notified to us, they are invoiced to the driver; an additional administration fee may apply.
8. Additional Driver
For a second driver to use the vehicle in addition to the renter, they must be added to the contract. The same age / licence-tenure requirements apply to additional drivers. The insurance is invalid in an accident involving an unauthorised driver.
9. Child / Baby Seats
By law, an appropriate child seat must be used for children below 150 cm. Baby/child seats can be requested as an add-on during reservation.
10. Breach of Contract
In the case of usage in breach of these terms, Trabzon Rentacar reserves the right to terminate the contract, repossess the vehicle and claim for resulting damages.
