Cancellation and Refund Terms

Trabzon Rentacar cancellation and refund terms — cancellation windows, deduction rates, early/late returns, force majeure and refund methods.

1. General Principle

At Trabzon Rentacar we put customer satisfaction first and offer flexible cancellation and refund terms.

2. Cancellation Procedures

Cancellation 24 Hours or More in Advance

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the vehicle pickup time are free of charge. The full reservation amount is refunded to the channel of payment within 5-10 business days.

Cancellation Within 24 Hours

For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the vehicle pickup time, a deduction equal to one day's rental fee is applied. The remaining amount is refunded.

No-Show (Vehicle Not Picked Up)

If the reservation is not collected at the stated pickup time and no advance cancellation has been made, one day's rental fee is deducted.

3. Early Return

If the vehicle is returned earlier than the date specified in the contract, the actual usage period is charged. The pre-paid amount is refunded on a pro-rata daily basis. No additional fee is charged for early returns.

4. Late Return

If the vehicle is returned later than the stated return time, an hourly late fee equal to 10% of the daily rental rate is applied where the delay exceeds 1 hour. For delays longer than 4 hours, a full day's rate is charged.

5. Method of Refund

  • Payments made by credit card are refunded to the same card (bank processing takes 5-10 business days).
  • Payments made by bank transfer are refunded to the IBAN provided by the customer.
  • Reservations paid in cash are refunded as cash from our offices or via bank transfer.

6. Force Majeure

For cancellations due to force-majeure events such as natural disasters, epidemics, curfews, airport closures or flight cancellations, full refunds are made without deductions. Documentation of the force-majeure event may be required.

7. Partial Cancellation

For multi-day reservations, partial cancellation/early return is calculated against the rental fee applicable to the remaining days. If a discounted long-term rate had been used, the standard rate based on actual days of use applies.

8. Cancellation Notice

You can submit cancellation requests by:

  • Logging into your account on our website,
  • Calling our call centre,
  • Using our contact form.

The time at which your cancellation reaches us in confirmable form is taken as the cancellation time.
