Required Documents
The following documents are required when renting a car: a driver's license valid for at least 1 year, an ID/passport, and a credit card. The minimum age is 21 (and 25 for some classes of vehicles).
Renting at the Airport
You can pick up your reserved vehicle at the meeting point at Trabzon Airport. The handover process takes 10–15 minutes. Pick up and return are open 24/7.
Traffic and Road Conditions
Trabzon's mountain roads can become slippery in rainy weather. Special caution is required, especially on the way to Uzungöl and Sumela. Snow chains are recommended in winter.
Fuel and Parking
Fuel stations are easily found in the city center, but in highland routes, fill up beforehand. There are paid (P+) and free parking areas in the city center.
Insurance Coverage
The full comprehensive (kasko) insurance offered in our rental package covers any kind of damage. Tire and glass damage are also included.
